In addition to the attachments required in the application form applicants who are not graduates of this University, must submit an original transcript or certified copy of their academic record for all tertiary qualifications to date.

The Master of Civil Engineering ensures that graduates master the knowledge and skills required to fully utilise modern computational and analytical techniques in Civil Engineering practice and research.
Students may choose to focus on one of the key areas of Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or Hydraulic Engineering, or may choose electives to gain more general knowledge, for example, with an emphasis on management.
The Master of Civil Engineering consists of 96 points of study. The normal completion time is two years. The course includes preparatory units, core units, electives and an individual research project.
All units have a value of six points unless otherwise stated.

Candidates must have
a) the degree of Bachelor of Engineering (Civil Engineering) of this University completed with a weighted average mark of 65 per cent or better, or equivalent as recognised by the Faculty;
or
(b) the Graduate Diploma in Engineering in the area of civil engineering of this University completed with an average mark of 65 per cent or better, or equivalent as recognised by the Faculty.
