Business and industry are supporting UWA students become the leaders of tomorrow through the Futures Foundation.

Our School also provides corporate partnership opportunities and consulting services to business and industry.

UWA Civil Engineering Futures Foundation

The UWA Civil Engineering Futures Foundation supports activities aimed at increasing the number of students undertaking Civil Engineering, enhancing their experience at UWA and providing them with opportunities to interact with industry.

Firms and organisations are invited to contribute to a fund which finances a range of activities dedicated to the promotion of Civil Engineering as a career, including the student laptop initiative.

The fund is held in the School of Civil and Resource Engineering at UWA and is administered by the School’s Industry Advisory Panel, which comprises representative directors and senior engineers from leading local firms.

Mining Engineering laptops - funded by BHP Billiton

BHP Billiton Iron Ore, in conjunction with our School, offers a laptop to every student entering the Mining Engineering program for the first time, after completing the foundation first year.

Consulting

Our School offers consultancy services in many areas, including geotechnical, structural, hydraulic and resource engineering.

There is a wide range of expertise and facilities available within the School to help you.
