Mining Student Laptop Scheme

A scheme has been established to equip every student entering the University of Western Australia BE Mining Engineering program in 2008 with a laptop to assist in their studies. This scheme is jointly funded by BHP Billiton Iron Ore and the School of Civil and Resource Engineering (CRE). The laptops will come with all standard office applications (i.e. MS Office, Endnote, Acrobat Reader, etc) as well as specialised software packages used in teaching Mining Engineering units.

Once you enrol in the Mining Engineering program, please fill out the application form and return it to Jane Budiselik in the CRE office (room 114 in the Civil and Mechanical Building) by 5pm Friday 7 March 2008
