Our Undergraduate Computer Laboratory has 48 Pentium 4 computers and three Hewlett-Packard laser printers, all networked through 100Mb switches.
Computers and printers are arranged in three bays that can be isolated from each other by foldable dividers. There is also a high-resolution data projector in the north bay.
The primary use of the laboratory is for the School’s teaching activities. Access to the computing facilities may be available to external users as approved by the School. Two levels of access as defined below can be granted to the eligible users.
This level of access allows a user to log onto any computers in the laboratory at any time throughout the academic year (typically from late February to the end of November). However, the availability of computers is not guaranteed for users with unlimited access. Users in pre-booked classes have higher priority over others. Eligible users are:

These rates apply to the use of the computing facilities by parties external to UWA or UWA users external to the School running commercial classes (that is, classes where participants pay a fee)

Special daily and weekly rates may be negotiated and in exceptional cases, these charges may be waived or reduced by special approval from the Head of School or the School Manager.
